The Proton Exora officially launched on 15 April 2009 in two trim
variants priced between RM69,998 and RM75,998 OTR. Both launch variants
were automatic transmission only, but a bog standard manual transmission
variant was added to the line-up later in November 2009, priced from
RM57,548.[7] Proton also showcased two concept models, the Proton Exora Prime and Proton Exora Prestige during the launch ceremony.[8][9]
These models featured far superior levels of luxury and trim not seen
in any Proton car to date such as a built- in cooler, 19-inch LCD
television and a seat massaging system among others.
The Proton Exora is a compact MPV vehicle produced by Malaysian car manufacturer Proton which launched on 15 April 2009.[1]
The Exora is Malaysia's first home- grown MPV and is based on Proton's
new P2 platform. The Proton Exora later received a facelift in 15
December 2011. It now utilises Proton's new turbocharged CamPro CFE engine and CVT technology for added power and fuel efficiency.[2] The name 'Exora' was inspired from the Ixora
flower. 'Exora' was chosen among 251,763 entries by the grand prize
winner Norsholihan Binti Abdul Eanich during the 'Name The Proton MPV'
competition.[3]

GOES 5-minute averaged integral proton flux (protons/cm2-s-sr) as measured by the SWPC primary GOES satellite for energy thresholds of >=10, >=50, and >=100 MeV. SWPC's proton event threshold is 10 protons/cm2-s-sr at >=10 MeV. Large particle fluxes have been associated with satellite single event upsets (SEUs).
